But Wait, There’s More

I hope you caught up with my story from a couple of weeks back about our new prime minister here in Australia. I wrote and produced an ad for a cleaning company using a sound alike – check it out.

The ad plays in Canberra – some 500k’s from me here in Sydney so I haven’t heard it on air. I called the client during the week and asked him how it was going. He is wrapped. He admitted he wasn’t too sure about it at the beginning but has had lots of phone calls and comments from clients and friends, so he’s really happy.

Which brings me to now. The election campaign has been filled with ‘confidential leaks’ from within the ruling party and it really hit its straps recently.

Leaks – cleaning company…mmm. I popped into the office early and wrote another.

We recorded it this afternoon and it’s on air now Canberra.

Isn’t it great when you have clients like that? I call them my A clients and you just want to bend over backwards for them. Nothing is too much trouble. It’s what we are in this business for and it’s what makes it so much fun. Have a listen and 3 more weeks to go till polling day – I wonder if I can get another one out of him?
